Optimistic women ‘cut risk of deadly diseases’


A recent study has found that greater optimism is linked with lower death risk, even after controlling for other factors such as whether the woman is married, comes from a richer or poorer family background, or has a history of diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or depression.
