While I was walking yesterday, I heard the roar of motor bikes and as I’m a huge fan of powerful machines, I ran to see where the sound was coming from. It was coming from the 600 bikes taking part in the 2017 Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride at Hackney Wick London. in this ride, bikers dress in dapper clothes riding classic and vintage style motorcycles to raise money for prostate cancer and men’s mental health. What better reason could there be for dressing up and getting on your bike?

Interestingly, the reason for the dapper dressing was to demonstrate that bikers are not aggressive as possibly inferred by leathers. The dapper clothing was intended to give them an elegant and caring look. It’s amazing how powerful clothing is on impression formation!
